Silverstone was instructed by Kier Property to undertake a full measured survey of 50 Bothwell Street in Glasgow to provide areas for the building in line with IPMS 3 (International Property Measurements Standards) for office buildings.

IPMS for office buildings has been drafted by the Independent Standards Setting Committee and establishes a consistent methodology for measuring office buildings around the world, something that has been fully endorsed by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The property comprises three previously separate buildings, forming a large block on Bothwell Street between West Campbell Street (to the left elevation) and Wellington Street (to the right elevation) in the city centre of Glasgow. The total IPMS 3 office area for the property totalled 79,481 sq ft based on a single occupation for the building.

We completed the inspection the day after receiving the instruction and our report was completed and issued less than 48 hours later, providing a quick three-day turnaround for the client.
